Anonymous reporting
An anonymous whistleblowing report is one where the whistleblower does not provide any identifying information about themselves. Such reports can be seen as less trustworthy, however fear of retaliation is one of the main concerns preventing people from speaking out in the first place. While the 2019 EU Directive left it up to state legislation to dictate policy regarding anonymous opportunities, we at Walor strongly believe it is an essential part of an adequate whistleblowing solution.
