Report

A whistleblowing report is when a person sends in a tip about possible misconduct in an organisation. Under the 2019 EU Directive a variety of individuals such as interns, sub-contractors, etc. are protected regardless of whether they are directly employed by the organisation in question. Reports can be substantiated or not, which determines whether they become whistleblowing cases or not.
